Dear She Who Shall Not Be Named,
It does not cost anything to send an email.
Also, @ means “at.” It is not “the little letter ‘a’ with a circle around it.” It always has been called “at” and always will. Even in your days it meant “at”.
Dear Grandpa Joe,
I heard through the grapevine that you wanted me to stop switching platforms because you were worried about not getting my stuff. It DOES NOT affect you getting my posts sent to you. I promise.
Also, please just click on the title of my post to get to my site like I showed you. Please. Go now and see how pretty it is.
I promise your computer will not crash and you will not get any viruses.
Lots of Love,
Remember when you thought the “Information Superhighway” was an actual road?
Ahhh… that still makes me laugh.
Yes, I am ever so slightly mocking the not-quite elderly today, but they all know how much I love them so it is okay… I hope.
However, when She Who Shall Not Be Named asked how much it cost us to send out her 10 emails, part of me wanted to say, “Twenty bucks a pop.”
But that wouldn’t have been the right thing to do.
Are the older people in your life computer savvy?
