The stomach flu has hit out house.
Emily has been quarantined in our bedroom which offers the convenience of a TV and a private bathroom to keep the germs contained.
I am the only one brave enough to enter her germ bubble.
I am also the only one who has bloddy hands from washing and Purell-ing over and over.
Too sick to come to dinner, I came up with an idea to lift her spirits and keep her close, but not too close, to the rest of us.
We have been Facetime-ing ever since and even if we don’t talk, I can keep an eye on my darling and pathetic girl.
By bedtime, she had spread enough germs in there to sicken an entire town was so snuggly and comfy in our room we decided to let her stay the night.
You know what that means don’t you?
Tyler and I are sleeping on the sofa.
I’ll be sure to let you know how that turns out.
