{What made you Feel Good this week? Choose a prompt and link up!}
(For the purposes of this post: sick=the 72 hour flu)
Emily got sick and it was NOT pretty as I previously mentioned. Then the next day I got some pretty nasty stomach pains.
At first I was petrified that I would get sick too until I remembered the line from A Devil Wears Prada when Emily Blunt says that she is:
“…just one stomach flu away from her perfect weight.”
Well then getting sick didn’t seem so bad.
And I felt better!
I must have gotten so excited over reaching my perfect weight, all of my body’s happy feelings just shooed that sickness away.
So I guess that is a good thing.
A part of me was kind of hoping that I would get sick after eating Cheetos and therefore I would never touch Cheetos ever again.
Apparently it wasn’t meant to be as I currently have orange powder caked on my knuckles.

On a different note, the social media job is beyond wonderful. I can’t wait to share everything with you, but until their program launches, I just don’t have a minute to spare for this blog.
Yes, I do have 22 posts ready to go in my queue, but if I can’t be “here” and connect with you, it makes me feel horrible so I am going to do something I have never done before:
Who Wants to Guest Post for Me???
Pretty, pretty please?
Now… I don’t want to pick favorites, which is why I am opening it up to everyone, and there are some of you who I know are busy so please don’t be offended that I didn’t come to you directly. (pleasesayyespleasesayyespleasesayyes)
Thank you! THANK YOU!
Happy Feel Good Friday to all of you!!

Yay! I love Devil Wears Prada. Im actually trying that diet from the movie. I eat absolutely nothing, and then when I get really hungry I have a cube of cheese.
I think the only part of that movie that I actually remember was that line…it was like “I eat nothing all day, and then just before I’m about to pass out I eat a cube of cheese.” Terrible.
Oh my gosh that is so funny!!!!!!
Dealing with sick AND being busy is definitely a stressful combo.
I’d be happy to help you out as a guest blogger!
Wonderful Liz!! Thank you so much!!!!
Liz!
How does Wednesday work? I would need it by Tuesday.
Thank you!!
Erika
Bwhahahaha! That’s the best line from that movie. Also, the silver lining to the stomach flu.
I got yo’ back for a guest post.
And that social media job sounds awesome!!
It totally was a great line!
Thank you. I can’t wait to have you here!!
So glad you didn’t get sick! Though sometimes illness is nice because it forces you to take a break. That is, if you actually do take a break when you get ill.
Have fun with your job!! How much longer will you be organizing their social media program? Will they take it over once you get it up and going?
I’d love to guest post…except that I’m setting up a new (third, I know) blog this week. This one is actually career-related (more news in my FGF) so I’m trying to focus on that. I’m even avoiding email, trying to limit it to five responses a day. And then I remembered today was Friday! So I’m moving it over to blog #1 to do my FGF right now!
You are so cute!
The bulk of the work is designing, setting up and teaching them. Then once they launch I just have to maintain it, upload their stuff, etc. So it will settle down in February.
Sounds like a lot of fun! Can you do a lot of that from home, other than the teaching part?
YES!!!! Isn’t that cool? I will have to go in when they launch to help each person learn what to do, but Tyler can watch Sarah so it all works out.
Very, very excited for you. And I still marvel over your down in the dumps glumness and then a second later, everything in your universe fell into its proper place. Serendipity at its best.
And I would love to help out BECAUSE the in-laws are gone, gone, gone! They left yesterday. If you have plenty of folks to help out, please don’t worry about it, but since I can’t babysit for you, I’d be honored to post on your blog.
YAY they are gone!!!!!
That is why I didn’t ask you because you also have a lot on your plate, but I would be tickled and honored if you would! Thank you!!!!!!!
Joann,
How about doing a post for Thursday? I would need it on Wednesday. Thank you again!!!
Erika
You know? I had the EXACT same thought when I came down with the flu this week: HEY! Maybe I can finally lose these last stubborn pounds I’ve put on since the summer!
Is that a bad way to look at the flu? ; )
And you know I’ll help out!
Glad to know you dodged the bullet. I was worried you were sick, so I’m glad to hear you were just BUSY! Looks like you’ve got plenty of guest blog offers. I’m available too. Have a great FGF!
Thanks Melanie!
I do, but when I do it again I will ask you first.
It should be interesting because some of the writers have never written before and are from the new blog I am working on…
I am glad to know you didn’t get sick, I had it and it was awful. I am also very excited to hear about your adventure!!!!! It also looks like you have a lot of guest post offers, let me know if you need more I would be glad to help!!!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!!
You are sweet!!! Thank you for the offer! Now Emily and Tyler want to do it as well, plus I asked the people at the new blog I am working on if they want a chance to do a post before they officially launch.
They have never written before! I thought it might take the pressure off of writing for their job. The 1st one runs tomorrow and it is pretty good.
I know a lot have said they would help you, but I would too. I would even keep it clean.
Lily,
I would love to have you!! How about for Tuesday, Feb. 1st.?
Erika
I am here whenever you need me and would be honored to guest post for you whenever you want.
Michelle, I would love to have you here. How about on Sunday, January 30th?
Erika
