Whew. I am back.
I had planned to be back all sparkly and happy and full of stories about my endeavor as a Social Media Consultant/Director/Designer/Whatever, but that will have to wait for another day.
As some of you might know via Twitter, our cat, Sam died on Friday at age 7.
On Tuesday he was a happy guy, laying on my laptop as usual purring away.
On Wednesday, he couldn’t use his 2 front paws. He couldn’t stand.
On Thursday we learned that he might have kidney disease. They’d know after some tests.
On Friday we learned that his kidneys were bad and that he had a kidney stone that had most likely moved and caused blockage. Like really, really bad.
We rushed him to the Kitty ER (yes, there is one) so they could give him fluids and check him out. They told us to wait 2-3 hours to see what happened.
*sigh*
He died before we could officially say good-bye.
So I am left reading that same damn pet death poem about Rainbows in the Sky.
No. It couldn’t have been prevented.
No. We didn’t know he was ill until he stopped walking that day.
Yes. It is devastating.
2 pet deaths in a year is inconceivable.
Now, what does all of this have to do with my rainbow header, you ask?
Well…..
I think I am done with it. Ever since I have been working on creating and designing Tyler’s company blog, a thought keeps niggling in the back of my head:
Knowing what I know about WordPress and Photoshop, I have never taken the time to work on my site. And that is just silly!
I have a few ideas and I won’t be losing the rainbow completely, but there are going to be some changes around here.
Well… as soon as I get some time.
In 2014.
So my question to you today is this:
Do you associate me with the Rainbow? Do you take the time to work on your Blog Design and SEO, or are you like me and continually procrastinate?
